Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Year Two Begins! Godzilla Pack Out Now Ver. 2.0.0 Update Goes Live, Adding Duels

SEGA has released the Godzilla Pack, the first DLC of Season Pass Two, for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The King of the Monsters comes ashore in the new Godzilla Escape course, and players can rampage down the circuit with the Godzilla Cruiser, King Ghidorah Coupe, and Mothra Surf Machines. The Ver. 2.0.0 update has also gone live today. Race in 1-on-1 Duels, power up your loadout with a seventh Gadget slot, the Super Slot, and dive into a host of new and improved features.

Godzilla Pack Out Now
Godzilla makes landfall on the first day of Year Two! Rampage down the circuit in the Godzilla Cruiser (Power Type), Mothra Surf (Boost Type), and King Ghidorah Coupe (Power Type) Machines. The pack also offers Godzilla Escape, a course featuring the King of the Monsters himself.

Godzilla Festival Coming Soon

The Godzilla Festival kicks off on November 6.
Join one of three teams and compete to score the most points. Each race offers a different challenge—perform the most Touch Boosts or complete other special objectives! Earn Festival Points during the event to unlock exclusive in-game items, including a new decal, horn, and more!

The Ver. 2.0.0 update shakes up the game with Duel Mode, the Super Slots, 15 new Gadgets, a host of collaboration decals, and more.

- Duel Mode
Players can now face off in online and offline Duels. These 1-on-1 showdowns feature a mode-exclusive gauge that fills up over time, by using items, and fulfilling other conditions. Once it's full, activate Duel Boost for a burst of speed. Use it at the right moment and leave your opponent in the dust!

<Rival Duels (Offline)>
Face off against CPU CrossOver racers in offline 1-on-1 matches. Defeat your Rivals to unlock Bayonetta and earn unique rewards.

<Duel Match (Online)>
Test your skills in 1-on-1 matches against players worldwide. Give it everything you've got in an adrenaline-pumping race where it's just you, your opponent, and the track.

<Best-of-10 Competitions (Coming Soon)>
Compete for the most points within a limited number of races. Join these limited-time events and earn Duel Medals, which can be exchanged for exclusive horns, auras, and other special prizes.

<Two-player duel!>
Face off against a friend or family member with this Friend Match option.
*On Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™ 2, you can play this mode in Local Wireless.

- Super Slot
Shake up the circuit with an all-new 7th Gadget slot. Gadgets equipped in the Super Slot will have stronger effects.
*To use the Super Slot, you must first unlock the Grand Master Plate by racing at least 40 times. Players who have already fulfilled these conditions will be able to use the Super Slot upon installing the patch.

- Play Missions
We're adding various missions that you can complete by playing regularly. Clear them by the deadline to earn Donpa Tickets and Duel Medals.
*You must be connected to the Internet to participate in Play Missions.

- The Shop
Exchange your Donpa Tickets and Duel Medals for auras, horns, decals, characters, titles, and Jukebox tracks at the new in-game Shop. We'll be updating the store lineup over time. Visit our official site to see upcoming items.

- An Expanded World Match Experience

Free Match has been added to World Match. Free Matches don't affect your rank, so feel free to jump in without any pressure.
*Head over to Ranked Match for the original World Match experience.

<Rivals>
Matchmaking will now pit you against Rivals of similar skill level. Come out on top to earn bonus Donpa Tickets.

- Gadgets
Change up your strategy with 15 new Gadgets, including Boundless Charge, which allows you to maintain your speed through runoff areas with Charge Level 4 Boost.
*These can be obtained once your Gadget Plate reaches Grand Master Plate or higher.

- Collab Decals
Deck out your Machine with 25 new collaboration decals.
